Flamenco al Desnudo

Poetic booklet.

I was in charge of everything in this project: design, illustration, pre-press, etc. It felt quite liberating and satisfying!

Basically, I was given a text about really personal experiences with this passionate Spanish dance. After some sketches that didn’t quite convince me, I decided to cut out some shapes. Then, I combined them with some random textures I had in my archives, and some others that I made specially. It was a matter of feeling the abstraction of them, how it played with the text.

However, the cover was different. It asked for some minimalism, some movement. The final image comes from a string entangled with a little branch.
